Super and turbo
can you supercharge and turbocharge a car, and can you supercharge a turbocoupe? how much would this cost and how much more power do you get? and how do you do this?

it is possible. in this application a supercharger is used for lower rpms. for higher rpms you take the turbo. the supercharger then uses a clutch like the a/c compressor, and is only active in the lower rpm range. you can use a boost pressure switch to turn it off and on, depending on the boost pressure from the turbo.

You are in uncharted territory now. I looked into the option of replacing the turbo with a supercharger and did not find any manufacturers that would go along with the idea. In other words, all the R&D and trial and error is up to the person doing the install. I'm not that willing to risk destroying my TC, so I ditched the idea.
