Strange
I was wondering if anyone has experinced what i did. My valve cover, well camshaft cover was leakng. So i got a new gasket replaced it then went to start the car. They would barley start. After a coupls of turno overs, i got out the timing light and to my suprise the timing was off almost 30 degrees. here is the wierd part, i never ever even gave the slightest touch to the distributor. Also who has done timing on the 2.3? Do you agree or dissagree it is freaking hard?!?!?!?! Mind you i did do it though, just so you know

There can be NO air leaks between the mass air flow sensor and the O2 sensor. I would sugest the gasket was not installed correctly or the PCV breather not in tight.
