need some advise quick.
Here's the scenario: 86 TC (150K miles)purchased for $200 not running. The body and interior are both great. The engine problem is found to be a cracked head. Which route would you all suggest I go...
1. new head- $600 plus labor... something like $900 total 2. new(rebuilt) engine- $1200 plus labor= $2100 I need to have my mind made up in the morning (Tuesday) by 10. Thanks for any help! |

How about junkyard head=$50, rebuild head at machine shop=$100, gasket kit=$30, antifreeze and oil=$20. I think $2,100 for a 2.3Turbo motor is a bit excessive.
