alot of miles
I turned over 189,000 yesterday on the original 302. That's pretty much all I had to say. How many miles has anyone else got?
Sept.1 is when the old motor comes out. I'll post pictures of the mayhem.

I have 262,430 on a 1988 Sport,(Posi, Tach Dash, Dual exh.)
The 302 V8 is quite reliable. No engine or transmission work of any kind. 1 qt. oil per 1,500-1,800 miles. It has had 1 water pump, 1 starter, 1 fan clutch, 1 power st. pump, 1 smog pump and 8 alt. Ralph |

220k on my '88 TC - I did have to replace the A4LD a couple years ago, but it was a blessing in disguise. I LOVE the 5 speed. Except for routine maintenance nothing else has been replaced - even the turbo's original - blowing about 16 psi in every gear :)
