Reset service light
Does anyone know how to reset the "service " light on an 88' ? Do I have to take it in to the dealer? Car runs great, and has been taken care of, but the service light is on, and driving me nuts. Please, any help would be great.

have you had the codes checked, it might be throwing a code of some sort
just disconnect your battery for about a half hour and the light should be gone, if it comes back, then have the codes pulled |

Is this the "service" light, or "check engine soon" light? If it is the service light on the digital cluster you can reset them by pressing the trip and reset trip buttons at the same time. If it is the "check engine light" do what Tbird231ci said to.
