What to ask? buying 88 TC/v8 conversion

I am looking at purchasing an 87 turbo to 302 conversion car. I don't know much about the tbirds. I like the style of the car and it seems a good deal ($2500). I have other older cars, an 87 and a 90 so I'm used to doing maint and some repairs but I have no experience with v8s.
Here are some details: 302 with fuel injection, don't know the mileage. Trans rebuilt. new alt, compressor, condensor, distributor, injectors, fuel pump and ps pump. Has a 2001 Mustang disk brake rearend. Don't know ratio. All this was done about 3 years ago. The car has 120k miles. I have seen it sitting on this lot for a year now. Never wrecked, repainted 5 yrs ago.
Can those of you that know these conversions provide some questions or things I need to check out. The guy that has the car did not do the conversion but I may be able to get his nbr. If so I want to know the right questions to ask.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
