Tomarrow My dad and I will test drive an 88 TC and I want to know of things to watch out for, and since it's an ohio car, where rust can hide. Thanks!

Well we looked it over, and it seems really good. A tiny amount of rust under the passenger door, a small crack in the dash, and one more problem that I know nothing about. It is about the power steering, it's leaking a lot of fluid very fast, and the guy selling it says it would be fixed with a $6 seal, but I wanted to ask if anyone knew about this problem before we made an offer.

Depends on the leak-if it's coming past the threads, you'll need to replace the teflon seal-If it's coming from around the swivel on the hose you'll have to replace the hose

All I know is that it is leaking from somewhere near the front driver's side wheel, and while standing on the outside of the car, by the front driver side wheel, you can look down through the engine bay, and see where it is leaking. Either way, is it a hard part to fix, and can it be done easily at home? And, if not, does anyone know what it might cost to have Ford do it? Thanks.
