I want to remove the outside trim molding from my 1956 Thunderbird to replace the windshield seal that is leaking. I am not shore on how to safely remove the outside trim molding without damaging the molding. I’m hoping to reuse it. If anyone knows the safe way, please reply.

Jim,
Assuming you're talking about the lower exterior moldings and the dog leg moldings have been removed; the safest way to remove them is to cut the windshield w/strip inside the car after removing the interior moldings.
