Hello, I have a 95 4.6 LX Tbird, it now has 88k on it, and I've noticed that it seems to burn about a quart of oil every 1-2k miles. It's done this ever since I've bought it a 60k, And there are no other problems that I can see, it runs nice, just burns oil.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I can tell you almost indefinitly it is the valve seals leaking. I have seen this on many cars with the 4.6L. On mine personally as well. Once I replaced the valve seals no more burning oil. If your strapped for cash or don't feel you can handle tackling it on your own no need to worry because as long as you keep an eye on the oil level your good to go. !The 4.6L may just be able to run forever!
HAPPY BIRDING
