What year is my t bird?

I bought my car from a towing company,he went through the legal ropes to get a title. The t bird is a 61 body style but my title says it's a 60. All the numbers match from the title to the car.Is this a 60 and a 1/2? or did someone goof.

Did they use the REAL VIN located under the hood in just above the headlights
Or did they use the Warranty info on the drivers door plate ?

They took it from the plate on the a pillar.

That can tell you correctly the year where it was made etc...
The best thing I bought for my bird was a reprint of the Ford Thunderbird Shop manual for 1962-3
I got it on ebay and paid about $35. for it including shipping.
It will tell you EVERYTHING !
