Use of 6 blade fan vs 3 blade

I just recieved my antique tags so around a few blocks was in order. The temp gauge went up fairly high. I do have a 180 deg thermostate, just had the radiator redone. The old 55 still has the orig. 3 blade fan. Anyone using a 6 blade fixed or 6 blade clutch fan. Did you notice much improvement in either regular or parade driving?

I have a 57 with a 6 blade fan and a new 4 core Griffin radiator. This car can sit and idle in 95degree heat and it will not overheat. It cooled fine with the 6 blade fan before I installed the new radiator.I would replace the fan with a 6 blade ASAP

Finaly giving an update...

I did replace the fan with a 6 blade - non-flex fan. Works great. I can be in a slow moving parade for 20-25 min. with no overheating. Worked for me!
