Help - Please?
When the passenger compartment is cool/cold the turn signals do not work. The fender light lights, but nothing else. Once it gets warmer in the car, then everything is OK. I've tried to replace the replay that's under the dash, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if there is an electronic replacement for this relay?

Thanks

I have a 66, you didn't say what year you have. On the 66 the relay is under the dash on the drivers side on the left bulk head, easy to get at. It's has three prongs. There are several places you can get the part, might try the Bird Nest in Portland, Or.

I was a little off on the relay location---follow the brake peddle arm to the top, the relay is just to the left of the brake arm pivot point---mounted on a flat plate with two screws.

Thanks Paul! John is the best. It is my motor for the sequencer and he has an electronic replacement, which I have ordered.

Hi Joe,

Thanks! It turned out to be the sequencer motor, John Draxler helped me troubleshoot it.

mmmy turn signals do the same thing when there cold, they light up but do not blink. do u think i have the samwe problem? thanks

I found out it was the sequencer motor. If it does not turn (because it's cold) then the system will not work. John Draxler at the T-Bird Ranch helped me troubleshoot this and he also has an electronic replacement for the motor. I'm hoping to have the replacement this week and I'll let you know how it works.

Hate to say it but---- the little turn signal motor in the trunk needs help---a couple of drops of 3-in-1 oil on the shaft where it enters the cream colored cam box. After 35 years+ it is dry as a bone and dragging to the point where the little motor that could- can't turn because of the drag.
