transmission leaks on 56 bird

Has anyone had front seal leaks on automatic transmission? If so could you please advise how to fix this problem permanently. This one has been replaced previously by past owner but problem is still occuring to the point where it is running out. All replies would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does the car sit a lot? This will cause it to drain.

It sat before we bought it at the end of April but since the summer show months; we've had it out every weekend. In fact this last weekend we drove i over 100 miles in 1 day to a show and then noticed that the drip was not pouring out. It appeared to be dripping in the garage when sitting; but it's just pouring out now. All we know is previous owner had some problem with it and was aware of it but obviously never fixed it correctly.
