Hi again!
Sorry to always have questions and not have the solutions for others! My 64 has a torn-up steering column gasket. ( the one that attaches to the firewall) and I'm getting heat and fumes inside.
I'm thinking that this must be a common problem with the swing-away column and the age of these beauties, but, I have not seen any info on them. I need to find out if anyone knows where I can buy one, and any tips on installing it.
Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice that you can give me!

Thanks Joe , for your input! I'll try calling them. Has anyone had to replace their's ? And if so, do you have any tips for me?
Thanks to any and all !
Brad

Black'sbird: I may have a good used seal for you. When I remember to do it, I'll look thru my stuff. Replacing the seal will probably involve removing the steering column from the car. If you need the lower column bushing, that would be a good time to replace it. Harley Eaton, Keller, TX

Harley,
If you do happen to have one in good codition, I would most likely be interested. I assumed that I would probably have to remove the column and of course the lower column bushing is bad ! (Imagine that !)
Like I said, thanks to any and all w/ info on parts and/or procedures!
Brad
