Hello Thunderbird Masters.
For about a year now I have been trying to sort out many problems with my sons 65 bird. This site has help answer many questions.
MASTER CYLINDER : The car has a master with a screw on top. As I look up parts I find clip top style was for disc brakes. Do I have the wrong master cylinder? Should I just replace the master with a dual cylinder?
BRAKE BOOSTER: The car has crimpted brake booster. Is there a difference in the crimped vs. the banded type. Is one better than the other or shorter if I consider a dual master?
FRONT PARKING LAMPS: Are the front parking lights supposed to stay on with the headlights?
CARBURATOR: I have replaced the stock carb with an Edelbrock. The car starts alot easier and seems to have more power. Can the heated carb spacer be removed or replaced with a non-heated spacer?
THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!
