Hi,

My local dealar did not have any information on part numbers for the rear brake hose on the 65 Bird. My question is if any other model Ford around 65 will have the same hose. My dealer had Fairline and Mustang hoses in stock?

Thanks

Mike

I don't believe there is an exact replacement. However another, longer hose might do the trick. Thunderbird hose is 13-5/32 long. Longer hoses are used on 65,66 Ford passenger cars, 65,66 Mustang, 65 Falcon, 67-70 Falcon Ranchero & station wagon. They may not mount to the rear axle housing the same way, but you will need to look to see how the brake hard lines attach.

i got the right hose at NAPA auto parts, just like the original, had to make the guy use something called a "book" to find it... :auto

My Thunderbird is in Sweden and I need a new hose this weekend.

I'm in New Zealand and have the same problem from guys with the best intentions!

My '66 is the only Landau in about a 500 mile area and there are NO T-birds or parts in this area.~!!

Can you pull off the line, Lay it on the counter and let them match it up with somthing. Maybe it's quicker just to get one mailed from one off the T-Bird venders here in the US
