hey everyone,
I tripped across a 1977 Ranchero with a deer dented front clip. Can I put a 77-79 t-bird frontend on the ranchero? Can this be my parts hauling Ranch bird or, if you want to call it, thunderbirdachero? What do you guys think?

I don't know EXACTLY how to make it fit, but it will go on with some minor modifications. I have seen this done before, and what an eye-catcher! There is one such car over at www.Cardomain.com but I am unsure whether it is located with the Thunderbirds or the Rancheros.

Seen a bunch of them and they all look good. Around these parts we call Cougar nosed Rancheros 'Catcheros' and T-Bird nosed Rancheros 'Birdcheros'.

I was just thinking... If that is a real 1972 Ford Sport hood on that Thunderbird nosed Ranchero and it looks OK, then a Sport hood from a '72-'73 Montego GT would look even better on our 'Birds as the twin scoops are less rounded and more angular, also more understated than the Ford Sport hood. Too bad they are scarcer than hen's teeth.
