Hello all. I need some advise on how to go about replacing the passenger side window motor on my 89 tbird. Can some one sorta give me a step by step guide to getthing this thing out? I drilled out 2 rivits but the motor is still not loose inside the door. It's pretty harn hard to get access to the motor! Well, any help is MUCH appreciated.

Thanks!

Marlin, I was under the impression that some were riveted in like yours but that there are 3 rivets(?) instead of 2.
When you do finally make sure there are no more rivets/bolts holding the motor (3 maximum) then just reach in and wiggle the motor and it should pop out of its spot.
The gearcase has raised shoulders around the bolt holes that fit very snuggly into the holes in the inner door skin, you just hafta work 'em outa their pockets & the motor will be yours.

good luck, 'bird
