Thanks

so much to do,so little time

Hi Ken. The only differences I'm aware of were whether or not the car had A/C. If not, the reservoir is on the unit and if so, it's mounted on the fender.

Ken ford used 2 types of pumps. the pumps that have the reservoir and pump as one unit are ford pumps and have short neck no a/c and long neck with a/c. The pumps that have the reservoir on the fender separately aren't ford pumps they were made for ford by another company but I forget who. I think in 64 they hadn't started using the ford pump yet.

Hi checked on the pumps and have been told by a couple places that the pumps that have the separate reservior are eaton pumps. The ford pumps have a pressed on pully also not one with a nut and key way
