not the battery?

Well I thought it was the battery but now I'm beggining to wonder. My 64 turned several times until I ran the battery low. Then I try again later and it turns until it cranked. Now!however after tuning it a few times it wont turn and it just clicks.The lights turn on, radio on also. Gauge is right down the middle. It wont turn. Just clicks. HELP
 
When it "clicks" the battery does not have enough charge to spin the starter. If you don't understand the charging/starting systems, and what can go wrong, best to go the Sears and get a Diehard battery. In the future, any sign of trouble, Sears will test your charging/starting systems for free or a nominal charge. But you must have a Diehard battery.
