[T-bird 77]

hello there,

don't speek so good english, but wat the heck :crazy

i'm gunther from belgium (antwerp)
25 years old.

i'v got 3 big american cars.
one of them is a black T-bird from 1977.

i don't now how to place picture's.
i shall try, don't watch to soon, i probably fail :banghead
maybe i shall place a link, my bird is on the cardatabase.

Welcome to the forums. The '77-'79 T-birds are pretty nice cars, and I've been very happy with my '78 Bird. The only trouble area I've run into on mine is the rubber damper on the steering column. The rubber tends to get brittle and crack with age, and if it fails, you could lose steering control. The rubber is in the shape of a disc and is often referred to in the states as a "rag joint." Other than that, I've had no unexpected problems.
