I've got a very rough 1964 tbird I'm going to try and restore. I'm replacing the neutral switch at the moment and whoever put this thing together last seems to have forgot a few things. ... anyway ... I noticed there are what appear to be two vacuum nipples on the switch (with no vacuum hoses attached). There are loose vacuum hoses all over the place under the dash ... does know where i can get a vacuum schematic for a 64 T-Bird... and any advice on replacing the switch?? Thanks!! :banghead

I suggest buying a couple of these books. I am restoring my 1964 Ford Thunderbird and I just ended up buying them all. It is nice to have multiple perspectives; considering I am new to working on cars. I wish I could help you on the vacuum hose situation, but that is my next task too. Lol I am hoping i get through it without going crazy lol. http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb.dll?parta~partsort go to this weblink for some great manuals

Those two nipples are the vacuum switch for the parking brake release. You'll find the vacuum motor for the brake release up above the e-brake itself. There's a pretty good diagram of this system and others at Thunderbird Ranch: 64-66 T-bird Vac Diagrams
