Alright so Ive been reading the crap out of the shop book. Ive figured out why the brakes only work when the bottom prong is depressed, but the shaft still doesnt spin. All the wires in the sequential are getting power. The wires going to my relay are getting power, but the wire plug that hooks into the relay has a melted corner which Ive read that means its malfunctioned.
Which brought me to my next problem when I looked for a new relay for the car, Ive found 2 different parts under "turn signal relay". One is the little silver box with the melted plug (which I believe is the relay) Then the black board to the right of it w/ all the red, green and yellow wires. I checked the wires on the black board and theyre not getting any power to them. So my questions at the moment is, is the silver box the relay? and if it is, what is the black board? and does the current go from the sequencer to silver box to black board? Or black board to silver box to sequencer? I know these are dumb questions. I just dont want to buy a part that I dont need. When it comes to engines and body, Im fine, but wiring is a different world to me. Thanks for any help.
