My hood is elevated in the back, and my attempt at fixing it led me to a dark place that lasted too many hours.
Someone in the past had rigged the hood with three different sized bolts, punched a cone toward the hood surface (with a too long bolt), and I worry that the hinges have been bent beyond repair.
I have ordered the proper sized bolts, rubber bumpers, ect., and am hoping someone knows of a way to get the hood down flat.
Your advice will be much appreciated.

Loosen the three bolts that hold the hinge onto the side of the fender well. There is some adjustment there if your springs and hinges aren't worn out.

Lossen the hindge bolts. Have someone push up on the hood( like you are opening it to far) and tighten them. This will roll the hindge down and back a little making the gap at the rear of the fender and the cowl alot smaller.
