I'm pulling the trim off of the "B" pillars to get ready to paint the car next week and have got the back seat out, pulled all the screws, have got the sides off and everything loose but am not sure how to get the rear interior vent deck to unhook from the rear window frame. I'm sure there are some clips holding it in but I don't want to damage anything pulling it the wrong way. Can anyone tell me how to get it out safely? does it slide forward or up? Is there a tool or some place to unhook it from?

Thanks for the help

Well; it's a one word answer: PULL You have the two side pieces off. You have the 10 or 12 screws out at the front of the deck. Now, you have to PULL the deck piece away from the rear window. If you have already pulled, pull harder !!

got some balls

and gave it a good pull and off it came. Thanks Harley. That's what the book showed too. Just didn't want to screw it up (cost more money)
