engine died, unable to restart. There seems to be no spark to engine.checked fuses fuel lines and pump. anybody with what I should check next.Should I take to a shop and get a computer print out?

Also check your condensor. Your condensor will do the same thing as the coil when it's bad. It very rarely happens, but I've had it happen on my '77 T-Bird about 2 months ago. And, if it IS your condensor, it's only a few dollars for one. ;)
Just in case you don't know what it is, it's hooked up next to your coil and it's a little cylinder with a single wire coming out of the top.

you might wanna check that fuel pump shut off switch, i think your year might have it, but i wouln't swear on this, mine is an '88 and i had that happen once...just reset it and go, but the hell of it is, i forgot where the switch was, but seeing as mine was the sefi 3.8 V6, and 88 was the only year the fox birds had sefi yours might not have the shut off switch.....
