Hello everyone,
I am pushing my luck as I threw my t-bird together with the 17s, a new colulm and some new cables (shifter and speedo) and I am now back to using it as a daily driver and stacking on the miles to the tune of about 50 or so a day. I'm lovin it, except for that nasty snow Iowa got awhile back. It's time to get the '90 going, bucause I don't want someone hitting me at wal mart or to be stuck vheicleless bacause something breaks on me. It's officially cruising weather, though, in my opinion.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped out the wheezy vaccum operated mechanisms for the headlight doors for quicker electric motors? I've seen it done on other cars, and I think I may try my hand at it a liitle later this summer. right now i'm just looking for info, and if nothing else, i'll do it and post pics or something when I'm done.
This swap will also mean that my car won't "wake up" when it sits overnight.
