exhaust manifolds

While removing the exhaust manifolds on my '65,I realized they were'nt the same.
The outlet on the right manifold is at the rear and on the left it is more in the middle of the manifold. Is this the way they are or do I have one wrong manifold?
The gaskets fit both.

Just finished the same job on my 66. The manifolds have different outlet configuration but use the same gaskets---quite a job, huh.
Thats the way they came from the factory.

Having accessto a lift is a big help! I need to replace the H pipe also and I wantedto makesure the manifolds were correct. Thanks

Having access to a lift and torch is great to get both manifolds off--otherwise you need access to every curse word in the English language!
