I'm not anywhere near working my dash yet but there is a combination TACH-VAC gauge offered by CASCO. I should think you could also find a tach at someplace like Summit that you could modify to fit nicely in the bird. If you want to maintain the correct needle color you can buy the paint from Hill's ($3.00 P/N 19000-G)
Yea, I've looked at the one from Casco but don't like the look of it, I want something that more resembles the stock tach. There are some cheap Sun tach's on ebay and am thinking of getting one to try to modify. Thanks for the reply.

I converted my ‘57 tach from mechanical to electronic. Look up D&M Restoration in Greenville, SC. They did a great job on all my gauges. Tach connects by wiire to the coil now.
