I've just about completed my restoration of my 64. After starting it for the first time in 4 years about 2 weeks ago there have been several little glitches to fix. The last thing I need to correct is a problem with the defroster. Instead of defrosting it fogs my windows (and chrome, etc.). I guessing that means I have moisture in my heater system. So far I haven't seen any leaking...

Before I start trying to pull that out (I'm dreading anything that makes me work under the dash - ugh!) I'm fishing for any suggestions of other causes or solutions for my problem.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

The only answer I know is: leaking heater core. If your car has factory air, pulling the heater core is no big deal. If you have been restoring it, did you put in a new heater core? If all four screws holding the core in place are present, it's a harder job than it will be with only two rear (toward the seat) screws are there. Harley
