My transmission just died. The shift lever got disconnected from the valve shuttle in the valve block. The shuttle appears to be BENT - how I don't know. My rebuilder says it needs a replacement valve block - but where to find one, or even a good enough complete transmission we could cannibalize? I'm in AZ - any ideas?

I have a valve body I could pull out of a trans in NJ $150.00 plus shipping if interested

Thanks for the offer and such a quick reply. I think I finally found a complete transmission here in Phoenix. I'm waiting for it to be pulled and then we'll check if it's OK and will part successfully. I'll keep you posted.

Picked up the used Cruise-o-Matic today from Desert Valley Parts here in North Phoenix. Now waiting to see if Fred and Gerry at Twizted Up Toyz are satisfied with it and get the TBird fixed. While at Desert Valley, noticed a Bullet Bird convertible project car. $3950. Bit my tongue and left.
