just wondering how many continental birds were made in 79. found a 1979 town landau continental. is this something rare? going to buy it soon..... $150 hehehe :thumbsup

I never heard of such a 'Bird. Please describe the car. Maybe someone customized a Town Landau? Anyways, enjoy the car!

its not a custom, I have seen a few of them (2 79's and a 75) the back has the hump like the continental lincoln and it says thunderbird across it. I will go out and take somepics of it whenI get a chance. also I was wondering if anyone had an extra reverse lense for a 79 bird. Thanks Graham

I knew about the continental big birds. But I didn't know they went into the next generation. I'll bet they look sharp. Post pics if you can. Also I hope you have better luck finding production figures than us T-Top owners or the convertible owners have had.
