Brake shoe eccentric replacement

I'm in the process of getting my 1955 chassis broken down for sand blasting and power coated along with brake backing plates question i have is the eccentric for the brake shoes-- is it removable and does anyone sell a replacement eccentric assembly

I don't know if the part is available (and I'm not familiar with them), but if not you may want to consider using 56 backing plates which don't have the eccentric .

Check with the vendors that handle sedan parts - they may have the part as I assume the sedans used the same set-up.

Check with Hill's and CASCO for the part, used.
