Ive noticed, that i have to push my pedal down pretty far before my brake lights come on...and if let up...they go out...Does that sound like the switch is bad?

Hi Rick, I put a new switch on it,, and it the same...it just seems you have to push the pedal pretty far before the lights come on...as you were saying..is there a way of adjusting the switch

This what Ive just noticed, when the car is off they light up right away, when you turn the car on, then you have to push down far, I also heard a hiss noise,, does this sound like the power booster is going??
