Blinking OverDrive light

My brother's '95 Thunderbird's overdrive light is blinking off and on. Transmission works fine. Anyone ever have that happen?

That is the tranny's way of telling you something is wrong with it. You have to get the codes scanned. Better do it sooner than later.......$$$$$
