Autolite 4100 work on a 312?

Now that I'm on my way to fixing my ignition problem does anyone know if an Autolite 4100 will work on the 312? The 4100's were so problem free that I would like to use that rather than a Holley... especially since I enjoy driving my 56 more than showing it.

I have a 56 t-bird with a 312 and standard transmission. It has a 57 intake manafold and a autolite 4100 carb. It runs fine.
