Got a 92 3.8L V6, AC runs for ever if the temp outside is moderately hot. When the temp gets in the 90's or more the AC will run until the engine gets hot then the compressor shuts off. If I'm on the Freeway it will run all the time. I can reset it by turning the electronic climate control on and off or turning off and on the engine but it won't run long. I Have had the freon checked, condensor coils not to bad, no noise when compressor is on, and even when the ac quits the engine still runs in below the normal mark. Anyone have any ideas?
