65 problems

I just bought a 65 for my wife. There are some minor problems with the car. The lights flicker when driving and there is a lot a heat coming from under the dash no matter how the controls are adjusted. This was an ac car, but now has no ac. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

You probably have a defective light switch---it has a circuit breaker integral in the switch---my 66 was doing that and a new switch solved the problem.
As for the heat problem, you may need a heater water control valve--if the car had air it is vaccum controled.
