55 paper air filter

I learned today that my 55 has an oil bath air filter. Apparently there is an aftermarket paper/guaze air filter that retro fits inside the existing air cleaner body. Does anyone have any info on same, as I have a 56 owner who is anxious as well to know the particulars as well?

I see the repro '55 and '56 dry element air cleaners available for $300. They are listed by CASCO 1-(800) 374-0914 and Concours Parts 1-(800) 722-0009.

I looked at the info, and since my original air cleaner is in extremely good shape, I'll not replace it. Does anyone know of a paper/foam/guaze element that fits the original air cleaner?

This is going to sound nutty, and I don't remember the number, but I went to NAPA and found a very small, round one from a tractor that fit between the raised circular part at the center (barely outside the carb) and the top.
