Hello Fellow Birders!
Looking at rebuilding my 4100 carb (C4SZ-9510-A, 1.12 Venturi 4v, 600cfm) with a rebuild kit from Macs. This kit is minus the floats which I am hoping I will not need. So here are some questions I am hoping you experts out there can offer some advice on.
1) should I look at purchasing another carb to do this with (given the currently installed unit is working but not the best)-saw some in past posts that have done this?? (Glenn Bedel Pinterest post of his project)
2) I have purchased the upper and lower gaskets and spacers in addition to the Macs kit and wondering what if any gasket sealant is needed when assembling back together?
3) any additional tips and trick would be appreciated
