Hi,

I have owned my 77 T-Bird for 27 years. I paid $5000. for it used and I could never part with it.

It is silver with a dark red interior and 84,000 original miles. It need to be repainted and the engine rebuilt. Is it worth the investment of another $5000?

Absolutely. Since you could never part with it, why save the money and use it is a mouse-nest? There is always gonna be more money, but only so many '77 'Birds. The way to have your cake and eat it too is to hot-rod it. Same old car and whole new car all at the same time! Charles

If I were you, I would keep it. I have put in well, I don't know, maybe 7 times what I paid for mine, (it was only $900), but still that roughly $7000 that I have put into my car. Well, its not enough. I love the car, and I want to keep it not matter what it costs me. I still have an order of about $1000 that I want to do to it in mods
Just my .02 cents

It's really great to hear people that really love their thunderbirds! Welcome...

I have people constantly ask me to sell them my 89 Super Coupe-so much so that I came up with the idea of a new plate for the car-NT4SALE.

She has 40k orginal miles-motor has not been touched except for oil changes-the car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
