1975 T-bird

My grandpa has a '75 -bird with (I think) an interceptor engine in it. He claims it came from the factory that way per the ford mechanic that was working on it. He saiys they ran out of 460's on the line and dropped those in a few of them. Has anyone ever heard of this or can tell me where I might be able to research the accuracy of that claim?

Pretty unlikely, they may have upgraded to a 460PI but it would be very difficult to tell. You might try this forum as they are the 460 Ford Guru's http://www.network54.com/Forum/85220
