Santa Monica, California car in very good original condition except for updates. 312ci engine w/automatic transmission. Power steering, power windows, power seat and original dealer added A/C blows ice cold. Built on Nov 2, 1956. Build # 40 AE XA 6L71041P. VIN# D7FH135692. Always garaged!
No damage or rust on body. Bumpers are not damaged but, there are a few rust spots on the front and rear bumper and floor shift bezel. Few people notice it unless you're looking for it. Includes a like new black convertible top in addition to aporthole hardtop with mobile Storage rack when not on car. Exterior repainted last year including door jambs, under hood trunk lid and porthole hardtop in original Colonial White with clear coat. Interior and dash professionally redone 4,000 miles ago in original Raven Black and Colonial White (Padded dash, seats, rug, door panels). Windshield was replaced at the same time. Matching portable center seat console w/drink holder and cassette storage included. Trunk redone and original jack included. Tires are wide whitewall Coker radials with less than 4,000 miles. New AM/FM/Cassette radio in dash w/new speaker. Original tube radio will go with car along with driver manual and repair manual. Seat belts have been installed. New front wheel cylinders, shocks (Front and Rear), Starter and Hood Release Cable. All instrument gages work including the tachometer (Except the clock which is right twice a day).

Starts quickly hot or cold and runs fine on regular unleaded. The Fordomatic transmission shifts as it should and the car drives well. Doesn't smoke and hasn't overheated on me. Body is tight and solid - no rattles and mufflers are quiet with a mellow tone. Excellent power! Burned rubber once to see if it would - It did! Ready to drive anywhere - Has not let me down yet! Bought it 10 years ago for honeymoon in Branson, MO. Used locally for Sonic runs, car shows and parades. Show stopper. Price is $36,950 OBRO (Or Best Reasonable Offer). Note: I will not meet you anywhere except at my home in Quitman, AR with an appointment. Selling because my wife and I are in our 80's and downsizing and we need garage space. If you check values for 57 Tbirds in comparable condition you'll find this asking price is a bargain - Especially with the A/C!
