I have a 1956 thunderbird with a three speed transmission. The past owner put a 57 intake and a autolite 4100 carb on it. The car runs fine. However, I want to go back to original intake and carb. I need to know if a 1956 t-bird automatic carb can be modified and how to modify so it will work on a 3 speed standard transmission. Any advise is desired.
