Pre-production car, identified by the chrome stripes that run down the side of the car.Only three or four of these "Fairlane stripe" cars were produced. Ford Motor Company decided to delete these for regular production Thunderbirds. This car was purchased at the 2004 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Arizona. Amos Minter's Thunderbirds, the worlds foremost expert in 55-57 T-Bird restoration, performed the restoration prior to the car being offered at auction. Minter's knows this car very well, and can answer any specifics about the restoration. www.amosminter.com
Car is is in pristine condition, and is a great driver. Both tops in excellent condition. All instrumentation/electrical works as factory. Interior, paint, trunk, undercarriage, chrome, etc are all in excellent condition.
