Believe it or not, when i was going to paint some pieces of my interior, I bought some vinyl PREP In an spary can, and it not only cleaned everything, but got INK off of one piece so I ended up not having to paint it. Got it at a body shop store. Jack

Hi. Trim code 35 doesnt exist for any year t-bird. For a 61 red vinyl is #55. I am used to these discrepencies because my 61 is supposed to be green #53 but it only exists in 1960 as 2 tone. in 61 I cannot get a color sample for 61 #53 green/green

detent and shift arm I am replacing my detent plate and the shifter arm on a 1961 t-bird, and I am having a heck of a time getting the chrome collar off. Is there somthing that I am forgetting to do? It seems stuck. Thanks Jack

Got the car and did alot of work. you know EVERYTHNG TO IT. Was dark green, but painted it back CODE S mint green.
