Go searching for a used Garrett T3 turbo. You can find from $2-300. You'll have better power but slower spool-up. You could have the IHI fixed but it's still too small a turbo.

Erik, did you get just the clutch plate or the clutch and pressure plate too ? How much was it and from where ? Since I have my 88TC engine out at the moment I want to change the clutch while I'm at it. See my latest post on the NATO Message Board for some laughs.

I don't think the Oil Feed Line has to change ??? I used the same Oil Feed line when I swapped my IHI for a T3 (out of an SVO). I did swap the brass elbow feed line fitting on the T3 with the one from the IHI though. Isn't that OK ? Turbonetics sells a T3 Oil Return Line Flange and 1/2" FPT...

Problem is that our TC's have alot more top end than bottom end. 5spd has a 3:55 rear... From a light we can be beat. On the Highway, it's fun when a 5.0 Stang thinks it's fast (hehe).
