I don't think switching brands of fluid will help the trans.The only way I fixed mine was to have it rebuilt.

I had the same problem with my T-Bird. It wound up getting worse and worse. I found it did it more under a load pulling a hill . I was the transmission I rebuilt it and all fine now. 160k miles. Good Luck.
