    fasten seat belt switch in 1965 driver seat belt

    Was there a switch in the 1965 passenger seat belt like the driver side for the fasten seat belt warning light, and was there a separate wiring harness for it? The wiring diagram in the Jim Osborn wiring book only shows the driver side.

    Air Conditioner Compressor concern

    Make sure the min-max lever on the a/c panel is in the max position. Mine will keep cycling the compressor if it is at min. setting

    1965 T bird Shift Indicator removal

    Thanks, I was able to install a new shift indicator. Just watch out to not loose the two special square head bolts that tighten the steering column.Don't take them completely out just loosen them.

    flushing out an A/C system for my 65

    Has anyone flushed out their A/C system using Lacquer thinner? I'm told by the experts to use Lacquer thinner and not these A/C flushes available on the market because they do not evaporate totally. Also to take the parts off the car as to not damage paint due to the effects of lacquer thinner...

    Chrome Bucket seat trim

    Chrome bucket seat trim I had to strip mine at a stripping company. Cost $60 to strip both seats then I had a local stainless and aluminum polisher polish them up for me. $cost $115 for both. they look brand new. Total cost $175. Worth it if its a restoration.

    I am about to purchase a 59 Bird convertible but I can't tell if the top is fully automatic like the 61-66 birds, or if 59's were just manual deck lid with a power top.
