Looking for a transmission pan and dipstick for a Fordomatic that's in a '56 TBird with a 312 V8. This is the air cooled transmission.

The dipstick tube on the Fordomatic tranny leaks where it screws into the pan. Is there a seal or o-ring missing that is supposed to be there? I've checked suppliers and pictures of the transmission and don't see any listing. I've tried teflon tape but it worked for a month and now it's dripping...
